What size and length suits me?
It is very important that your gardening trousers fit you comfortably and that you can make all kinds of movements with them. After all, they are work trousers! The knee reinforcements, which can even be fitted with knee pads if necessary, should also sit properly on the knee when the knee is bent.
Please note that only the garden trousers in cinnamon and olive have a pocket for knee pads. NOT so the dungarees in natural grey-blue!
We have only produced the standard leg length for the dungarees in natural grey-blue. However, customisation is possible at any time!
Usually, the trouser size is determined solely by the waist size. In other words, only the waist circumference. Possibly also by the leg length, as with jeans.
We think that the hip circumference is at least as important for trousers. To create our table, we measured over 30 friends – a big thank you to everyone who took part in our survey.

At the bottom hem, fold over 2 cm with knee fabric and sew on with a slightly larger stitch. If the trousers are a little too short for you, you can simply unpick the hem for all our trousers and let it down. A finished seam will appear and you will have gained 2cm in length!
We have made the pattern also in size 46, but do not have any trousers in this size in stock. If you would like a pair of trousers in 46, please contact us and we will be happy to make a pair for you at an extra cost of 10 Fr. We can also make other, larger alterations, the costs are calculated according to the effort involved. Just write to us!
Find your perfect size.
TUMMY CIRCUMFERENCE:
Please measure your waist circumference at the level of your navel.
HIP CIRCUMFERENCE:
Measure the widest part at the bottom. Sometimes the widest part is at the thighs. In this case, please measure this as your hip circumference.
What do you do if, for example, your waist measurement calls for a size 38, but your hip measurement points to a size 40? Please always order the larger size. It is very important that you feel comfortable in the trousers and that you can move freely.
The perfect length.
We indicate the inside leg length for all trousers. To find out which length suits you, you can measure your inner leg length from the crotch to the floor.
The three lengths are called petit/standard/long.
Please note that the dungarees in natural grey-blue are only available in the standard leg length. However, customised sizes are possible at any time!
It is very important for you to know that you can still lengthen the trousers by 2 cm! A ready-made hem is folded over for you with a slightly longer stitch. All you need to do is unpick the stitch. Watch this video to find out how to unpick the seam.
And if it doesn’t fit?
You can try on the trousers at home. And if they don’t fit you, you can simply send them back to us within 14 calendar days. It’s easy: the return slip and the return label are already in the parcel, all you have to do is stamp it.
